The Sound

Three storeys three unique sounds from Disco, House, Commercial to Hip Hop and RnB, with the odd genre night thrown in when a guest DJ takes over for the evening. Line-ups rotate through resident and guest DJs across our trading nights: Yours Truly and Club Astra take over every Friday across the Rooftop, Lounge and Club, and Emerson Saturdays carries it through to the weekend.

Opening Hours & Entry

The Club trades Thursday and Friday from 8pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 9pm, all running late into the night. 

A cover charge applies on Saturday nights, and as a licensed venue, we require valid photo ID or Digital ID on arrival. A driver’s licence, passport or a Keypass proof of age card will get you through the door.

Walk-ins are always welcome, but if you’re bringing a bigger group, booking a booth ahead of time means you won’t be left hunting for space once the floor fills up. Only a few clubs in Melbourne make booking that easy. Among South Yarra clubs especially, this is one of the few where a booking actually guarantees you somewhere to sit down between songs, rather than a spot in the queue. 

Free on-street parking is available after 5pm, with two larger car parks a short walk away if the street is full. It is one less headache than most night clubs in Melbourne could offer.

Dress Code

Smart casual, no exceptions. 

To keep the standard consistent for everyone on the floor, we don’t allow sportswear, hoodies, singlets, shorts, bum bags, excessive branding, trainers, ripped clothing, puffer jackets or heavy jewellery. 

It’s a small ask that keeps the room looking the way a nightclub Melbourne crowd this dressed up deserves, and it applies at the door regardless of who you know.

Booths, Bottle Service & the Rest of the Building

Want your own corner of the dance floor? VIP booths come with bottle service and a dedicated host, ideal for birthdays, bucks and hens nights, or just a group that wants somewhere to land between dances. 

Enquire through our team for availability on your preferred night. And if The Club isn’t quite the vibe the moment you arrive, The Emerson has two more floors to explore without leaving the building. The Rooftop has skyline views and dinner, and The Lounge has something in between.

The Emerson’s greatest feature is having a dance floor on all three levels of our venue! This includes one on our The Club and The Lounge levels, surrounded by booths and live DJs always providing high-energy vibes. Our scenic rooftop also has a dance floor with a live DJ playing every weekend for an unforgettable experience.
