We always welcome walk-ins – Although we do recommend booking a booth in The Club for larger groups to ensure a seamless experience. You can request a booth here.
On Saturdays and Sundays, The Club level opens from at 10pm until late.
Yes, we charge a $25 entry fee from 7pm onwards on Saturday nights.

Yes, our cloak room is located in the foyer, on the ground level. Our cloaking service costs $5 per item (cash & card is accepted).
On a Saturday night, The Club level features a variety of music genres, mainly focusing on Hip Hop and RnB. Check out our What’s On page here for any potential upcoming events at our nightclub level.

The Emerson’s greatest feature is having a dance floor on all three levels of our venue! This includes one on our The Club and The Lounge levels, surrounded by booths and live DJs always providing high-energy vibes. Our scenic rooftop also has a dance floor with a live DJ playing every weekend for an unforgettable experience.
Yes, there is free on-street parking available after 5pm as well as 2 large car parks nearby. These are located in the Prahran Market car park, on 32 Elizabeth Street, South Yarra and in the Prahran Square Car Park, located on 30-40 Izett St, Prahran.
Yes, as a licensed venue we require ID upon entry to the venue. You will not be granted entry into the venue if ID cannot be provided. See below what types of ID below…
Yes! The Rooftop features a kitchen where you can order delicious bites from our A La Carte menu. Inspired by the Mediterranean, our menu is to the point and locally sourced from some of Australia’s best local suppliers. View our food menu here.
Our kitchen is also open late, for those late-night cravings!
We ask that you leave the professional cameras at home. However, you are welcome to capture photos on your phone, film camera or a small digital camera! Be sure to tag @theemerson in any flicks!

The Emerson has an outdoor balcony accessible from the rooftop that provides an opportunity for guests to step outside for smoking or to enjoy some fresh air. However, it’s important to note that food is not permitted on the outside balcony.
Our rooftop is wheelchair accessible as we have a functioning lift that ascends to each of our three levels, including The Rooftop. We also have ambulant bathrooms available on each of our levels for those who require these facilities.
